 Mettel provides a broad-spectrum analysis of your total IT environment, evaluating the overall health of the environment and adherence to accepted industry best practices for information management. We will perform an on-site review of your systems and network infrastructure using senior level architects who are experts in each area of information systems.
Network Assessments provide:
- Outside, objective examination of your systems to ensure they adhere to accepted industry best practices
- Provides a high level IT strategic road map that you can use to plan, budget and prioritize your IT needs
- Provide confidence that your network is truly robust, secure, redundant and backed up
- Give non-IT executives visibility into potential areas of concern with the systems that the business depends on
Mettel work jointly with our clients to understand their overall corporate strategy and business objectives. To gain this understanding, Mettel will conduct an assessment on the current environment that will identify gaps between the strategy, business processes and supporting infrastructure and applications.
At the conclusion of the assessment Mettel will provide a written Findings and Recommendations document. This document will provide a blueprint for the client’s IT needs and can be used to create detailed proposals for any strategic IT projects and/or outsourcing of IT support.
Recommendations may include:
- System reconfigurations
- System upgrades
- Standardization
- Support services
Additional assessment work, focused on a specific area or issue
Mettel can also use the information gathered to create comprehensive network documentation that can form the foundation of the client’s IT support information base. This system documentation can be used to accurately illustrate the components and configuration settings of critical systems, reducing long-term support costs. Up to date, comprehensive documentation of a company’s systems is valuable not only for the IT visibility it provides to business executives, but also for the value it provides as a resource during troubleshooting and problem resolution. |
